Andre Ferguson Keeps Making Gains, Becoming Jeremy Buendia’s Greatest Threat

Andre Ferguson has what it takes to dethrone the champ.

The current standing of Jeremy Buendia is that he’s the man in the Men’s Physique division. After three straight years of absolute dominance on the Olympia stage, it’s clear that it’s going to take someone special to dethrone Buendia. As it stands, there appears to be no end in sight for Buendia’s reign. But there are still competitors out there with the right tools to defeat the talented Buendia. One such competitor is the criminally underrated Andre Ferguson.

Though he may not be the Olympia champion, fans have grown to admire Andre Ferguson’s physique. Many believe that he should be the Olympia champion right now. But it’s up to the judges to decide who the winner is and as of yet Andre Ferguson still has a ways to go before dethroning Jeremy Buendia. But with every passing moment he appears to be on track to give the reigning champ a ton of problems.

This Instagram post says it all. Andre Ferguson is looking like a beast and it’s hard to believe that he isn’t already a champion.

This is probably my favorite show package of all-time from the 2016 NY PRO. It just looks so balanced. Nothing too crazy, just clean muscle. Let me tell you a lil dope story…. After this picture was taken, I started to pump up. Not even 2 mins into pumping, my dawg @ifbbprogeorgebrown comes over and says, ” Didn’t I tell you about that pumping shit? Stop pumping you already look perfect!” (Now let me remind you I’m going against him in this show) Quickly take you back a few months before this show to the 2016 Arnold Classic George told me the same thing, I stopped pumping and took 5th place at the show, which was my most notable placing up to that moment. Fast fwd back to the NY Pro. Well George was right once again. I pumped too much and ended up sweating on stage, holding a lil blood and water all over the body, which in turn, blurred my lines and took away from my sharpness. Which ultimately got me a second place finish, when I might have been able to win that one. Lesson learned, which is why I no longer pump up for any competitions anymore. I let the food fill me out and then just walk on stage. This moment is when I knew George was my dawg, we were both there to win, but at the same time he still went out of his way to look out for me. Twice. Now George knows this year I’m coming for that trophy. This is his quote from yesterday’s group chat. “When we shoot for jm it’s gonna be epic. We all will be peeled! None of us are gonna lose! With that being said. Nobody is taking my titles. If you wasn’t motivated you better be now ?????” … and on that note, let’s work my brothers! @ifbbprogeorgebrown @rayedmonds_ifbbpro #PittsburghPro #NYpro
