CONOR MCGREGOR AND NATE DIAZ NEAR BRAWL AT UFC 196 PRESSER

Mcgregorvsdiaz

It’s…about…to go…down.

The closer Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz get to their welterweight bout this Saturday night at UFC 196 the more I wish this fight had a full promotion. In the latest press conference the two rambunctious fighters nearly come to blows after throwing verbal spars throughout the promotion. What tipped the scale was when Nate Diaz put his fist in Conor’s face during the stare down….Conor McGregor didn’t take to that lightly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrDufIIM9b8 During the conference the mind games ensued. With Conor calling Nate irrelevant with shots like “You call no shots, you wait to be called.” and “You can’t talk about money…You’re broke!”, the gloves were definitely off with this one. Nate fired back calling Conor McGregor’s past opponents “midgets” and Conor’s movement training nothing but “touch butt” in the park with the guy with the ” stupid ponytail”. While the press conference was definitely entertaining, there were two things that peaked my interest. One, was Conor’s prediction. He said Nate had a soft body and predictable in and out movement which he would toy with until the end of the 1st. With all his predictions coming true we’ll see what he actually does in the bout. The second, was the sight of Nick Diaz walking off the stage after the near brawl…I don’t know but it seems like that’s the fight to make. While Nate definitely has a chance, I’d love to see one of the toughest (mentally and physically) Nick Diaz, who’s never been knocked out, face off against one of the most skilled knockout fighters in Conor McGregor. Don’t mind me, I’m just looking ahead. Full press conference below. Are these type of antics entertaining or just crass? Will Conor continue to be king or will Nate Diaz crash the party? Let us know in the comments and forums.
