Generation Iron Cellucor

Times are changing for the supplement industry.

Training for bodybuilding is at once simple and a tall task. Simple because the concept is that a person needs to find a body part they wish to build up and utilize resistance training to perfect that particular muscle group. What makes bodybuilding so difficult is undoubtedly the amount of time and effort you need to put into training to actual see the results you want.

Lifting weights is the name of the game and that can either come easy or can be extremely difficult based on a number outside factors, namely your nutrition and supplementation. In order to build quality muscle you need to have a number of nutrients, some of which you couldn’t possibly get enough of from food alone. This is why supplementation has grown so popular.

But supplementing can go far beyond simply wishing to getting all your nutrients. For example, pre-workout is something that many people use before a training session in hopes of getting extra energy during training. Well, if you were one of those who utilized the popular Cellucor product C4, a pre-workout supplement, you’ll be surprised to learn that the company is having a federal class action lawsuit filed against them.

According to Medium.com – Cellucor is yet another supplement company to get targeted by the government. And with a popular product like C4 being attacked – this seems like a the beginning of a large movement to crack down on the supplement industry.

These days it seems like more and more supplement companies are being brought to court for containing banned substances. The substance in question is amino nitrates which are no doubt found in a number of different supplements including pre-wrokout powders. Like MusclePharm before them, Cellucor will have to defend themselves in court and get FDA approval to cell their products.

If you’re questioning the authenticity of these claims then take a look at the filed paperwork below, all thanks to Medium.com
