GENERATION IRON PODCAST WITH KAI GREENE: LIFE AFTER LEAVING BODYBUILDING

Generation Iron Podcast Kai Greene

What happens beyond “prime bodybuilding age?”

Every sport has a prime age – and there’s no fighting the fact that eventually athletes have to step down from competing. The body just can’t take too much stress as age starts to creep up. But bodybuilding is a particularly interesting sport in that there ARE bodybuilders who compete well into their twilight years. The masters competitions alone provide bodybuilders all the way up into the 70’s and beyond an opportunity to compete. And with top scoring athletes like Dexter Jackson still making waves – when does the “prime years” really end?

In the latest episode of the Generation Iron Podcast With Kai Greene – Kai touches upon how a bodybuilder prepares for a future past the “prime years” and how someone who lives an entire lifestyle of bodybuilding deals with not being able to compete after retirement. What does Kai Greene himself plan to do after these prime years? Find out in the latest episode above!

The Generation Iron Podcast With Kai Greene airs every Wednesday and is available to listen right here on the Generation Iron Fitness Network, the iTunes podcast app, or on CBS’s official Play.It website. Please help us make a mark in the podcast world! Listen, subscribe, and rate us!
