GI Workout Song Of The Week 11/15/2016

Set the bar high in the gym this week.

This past weekend the world was able to see something historic. Conor McGregor became the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts at the same time. It was an impressive feat, one that will no doubt go down as one of the biggest achievements in combat sports. It’s hard enough to get an invite to the UFC let alone win championship gold. But McGregor was able to not only capture the featherweight title but now the lightweight title as well.

While it some of you may not care about MMA as much as building up your body, the fact that a man was able to make the impossible possible should give you the kind of motivation you may have been lacking in the gym. Annoyed that you don’t see results? Getting frustrated that you don’t look like an absolute shredded beast? Too bad. That just means you have to continue striving. Don’t see the results you want right away? That doesn’t matter. It’s about pushing yourself past your limit. The only way you’ll seize victory and make all the gains you seek is if you stop making excuses for yourself and keep pushing until you break through your plateau. The impossible is very possible if you have the right mindset. If nothing else, that’s what Conor McGregor’s win at UFC 205 represents.

Let the GI Team provide you with some much needed tunes to get you in the mood to make some serious gains.
