HERE’S HOW TO EAT LIKE THE MOUNTAIN FROM GAME OF THRONES

Generation Iron The Mountain Diet

A mountain sized diet for uber gains.

Strongmen and bodybuilders are certainly two different animals. Where bodybuilders focus on building aesthetic muscle, strongmen focus purely on building strength. If it doesn’t make them stronger then there’s no point to it.

Strongmen perform squats, bench press, and deadlifts in order to acquire new strength. They could care less about bicep curls or leg extensions as these movements offer them nothing in the grand scheme of things. If it’s not helping them grow in strength then it’s useless to the cause.

Some strongmen even have diets that may not be conducive to building a great physique, but certainly helps to build strength. When you see some of the meals that strongman Eddie Hall consumes you’d either be shocked or disgusted, by the amount of calories he eats.

Hafthor Bjornsson, The Mountain of Game of Thrones fame, isn’t your typical strongman. Hafthor’s diet plan isn’t like most strongman athletes. Rather than consuming any and everything in sight, instead Hafthor eats considerably clean. He consumes a tremendous amount of calories like his fellow strongmen, but that fact that the foods are all clean has not only given Hafthor a tremendous amount of strength, but also a physique that is more aesthetic than your average strongman.

Just take a look at all the food The Mountain consumes per day.
