PHIL HEATH TALKS BODYBUILDING ON NATIONAL TV

Phil spreads the bodybuilding word on Bloomberg TV.

Phil Heath stopped by Bloomberg TV yesterday for a brief live broadcast on national television. Proving that he has truly become the voice and face of modern bodybuilding. The mere fact that he was booked to be on Bloomberg TV is a sign of how far the sport has come. The host says it herself, niche sports like bodybuilding are becoming more and more interesting to the average Joe. The sport is growing both as a competition and an industry (which is why Phil as also able to plug his Gifted Nutrition line).

There’s still so much more room to grow. While it’s fantastic that Phil Heath got to appear on national live TV – it was a relatively short segment. Why didn’t they give him more time? Especially with Phil Heath – a man who has always been exciting to listen to and carries himself well in the limelight. And certain questions were very light (“Are you going for a 5th [Mr. Olymia]?”) Phil of course handled himself well, both informing of the passion and history behind the Mr. Olympia records and displaying his pride for the sport.

You can check out the video above, courtesy of Bloomberg TV. But that’s not all for Phil Heath news, don’t forget to check out Phil’s live seminar today at 7pm at the Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym. If you are in the New York area, you should definitely check this out – as he will be providing a live training seminar for all who attend.
