Does Roman “Rex” Fritz have what it takes?
Bodybuilding has never been more popular than it has been now. It’s been taken out of the shadows and brought to the forefront like never before. There are sponsored athletes, highly touted and well organized events, and much more legitimacy than when the sport was first born decades ago. With potent stars like Phil Heath and Kai Greene, the sport has thrived and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
But nothing lasts forever and eventually there will be a changing of the guard in bodybuilding. The men that are stars of the sport today will eventually have be replaced by new fresh faces. When that time comes, the stars of today will become the elder statesmen for the sport and hand over their power to young talent hoping to make names for themselves.

One such up and comer we should all keep our eyes on is no doubt Roman “Rex” Fritz. The man is a beast and is looking like he’ll have a bright future in the sport. Still early in his IFBB career, Rex has a ton of room to grow, but has already shown great promise with his physique. Not just anyone can come in and win the Amateur Mr. Olympia. The win has set Fritz up for bigger and better things to come in his future and it comes as no surprise. Fritz trains hard and has a great work ethic that has already seen him capturing many amateur titles. Now that he’s a pro it’s only a matter of time before Rex starts to make waves in the sport. While today is truly exciting – we have our eyes firmly looking towards the future. If Rex plays his cards right… he might be a big part of that future.
