Arnold Classic 2017: Days Out, Hidetada Yamagishi Is Killing It In The Gym

Hide is prepared to dominate.

The Arnold Sports Festival is this weekend meaning we’ll get to see some of the best talent in the bodybuilding world in varying categories. While many of you rabid fans on here are concerned with the open weight division, there are indeed other categories to be excited for. One of those categories is certainly the 212 division. Featuring some of the greatest lightweight bodybuilders in the world, 212 has given rise to some of the most talented athletes in the sport including reigning Olympia champion James ‘Flex’ Lewis. But another member of the 212 ranks has also been considered top flight talent for many years now. That man is none other than Hidetada Yamagishi.

While you don’t see many professional bodybuilders coming out of Japan, Hidetada Yamagishi is still carrying the flag as the most famous Japanese competitor to compete in the IFBB. This weekend will see the talented bodybuilder try his hand at capturing another Arnold Classic title. Hidetada Yamagishi is no stranger to facing stiff competition. His experience in competing in the open weight division against athletes who always out sized him has prepped him to face off with athletes on this even playing field.

As the Arnold Sports Festival fast approaches we’re seeing the athletes make their final preparations for the competition. Fine tuning his diet as well as his training, Hidetada Yamagishi looks poised to do big things this weekend. This training footage only further cements that notion.

Do you think Hidetada Yamagishi will win this weekend?
