No vacuum pose for Breon Ansley.
The differentiation between Men’s Open Bodybuilding and Classic Physique can be somewhat difficult to discern. For this reason, many are calling for Classic Physique to make some changes to the mandatory poses in order to set the newer division apart. For many, the needed change is adding the vacuum pose as a mandatory.
While there are certainly benefits to making the vacuum pose mandatory, many believe that it isn’t necessary in order to judge a proper Classic Physique. One of those people is current Classic Physique Olympia champion Breon Ansley.
The champ seems to be against adding the vacuum pose as a mandatory in the division. While it could help to really separate Classic Physique and Open Bodybuilding, Breon Ansley thinks that what’s been put in place is good enough.
