2017 Arnold Classic Champion, Cedric McMillan out of the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
It appears that one of the top Men’s Open competitors, Cedric McMillan has withdrawn from the 2020 Olympia contest in Las Vegas, December 17-20.
Cedric McMillan has long been a top contender in Men’s Open Bodybuilding. Having won the Arnold Classic back in 2017, Cedric McMillan has been a force to reckon with ever since. But unfortunately it appears that the talented bodybuilder will be out of the 2020 Olympia.
According to Fouad Abiad it appears that Cedric McMillan has suffered a number of injuries. While he didn’t report the injury on social media, McMillan apparently sent photos to Abiad confirming he has broken his collarbone and has also damaged his hand.
“I think the actual injury is a dislocated hand,” said Fouad Abiad. “I’m not sure if there’s a break in it, but there’s a break in the collarbone.”

Foud Abiad also stated that Cedric McMillan will be on his podcast to confirm his Olympia status. The US Army veteran suffered the collar bone and hand injury while riding his mountain bike in South Carolina.
“So I’m out here riding and going down a hill around a curve, and somehow lost traction on the back tire which drifted me off the hill. So here I am, mountain bike on the f###### hill, and the only thing you can think about is ‘what is going to stop me’ you know? Something’s going to stop me, right? So when I came off the bike, I’m not exactly sure what I hit first. I’m in a curve to the left, I hit my left hip and left shoulder, and at some point, as I was rolling, I think I tried to break my fall with my hand, or hold onto the handlebar. I know the back part of my hand was what hit.”
McMillan continued training to prepare for the Mr. Olympia 2020. After speaking with his team and his physician, Cedric confirmed that there was no way that he could be at 100%. He confirmed he will focus on his return to the stage in 2021. For now you can see Fouad Abiad’s full video here.
