Regan Grimes made headlines earlier this year by surprise announcing his move to Classic Physique. Specifically, this surprise was as last minute as it could get – literally appearing in the Classic Physique division the night of the New York Pro 2018. But this wasn’t a sudden decision. Not in a long shot.

In the premiere episode of East Coast Mecca season 3, we follow Regan Grimes one week before the competition as he trains with his friend Zane Watson at the Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym. He also gets critiqued by IFBB head judge (and gym owner) Steve Weinberger. He makes it clear with a simple announcement to Steve in the gym – that he had planned on going to the Classic Physique division for the New York Pro all along.

In what was to be his first ever appearance in a new division – pressure was on as he posed for Steve during his critique in the East Coast Mecca. Get a complete inside look at Regan’s contest prep and transformation in the full episode above!
