Give Yourself Championship Levels of Motivation

GI Workout Song Of The Week 2/13/2017

UFC 208 saw a new champion crowned in the newly minted women’s featherweight division. It was certainly a strange main event as we saw punches being landed after the bell as well as judging that was more than a bit questionable. Many believed that Holly Holm deserved the nod while a large contingent believed that Germaine de Randamie deserved to take the win.

No matter who believe won, the future of the division may very well lie kin the hands of the uncrowned champ, Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino. While she’s getting things cleared up with USADA however, the fans will have to wait to see if Holly will get her desired rematch. For now, Germaine de Randamie gets the win albeit with some controversy, but nevertheless she’s likely to carry the belt with pride. As such her efforts should be commended as arguing about a judges decision has usually done little (nothing) to change the outcome. One thing we can expect out of the new champ is for her to train hard to keep the title as she was clearly filled with a fire to challenge for the belt. No matter how you cut it, you can’t take that win or that belt away from her. Rather than complain, you should be looking to make something of yourself as you head into the gym this week.
