Golden Era Throwback: Legends Serge Nubret, Robby Robinson, and Sergio Oliva On Stage

The Golden Era of bodybuilding offered up some of the most genetically gifted bodybuilders to ever step on stage. With bodybuilder like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zane, Lou Ferrigno, and many other greats, the Golden Era is often remembered with great reverence and respect.


Legends in the sport like Serge Nubret, Robby Robinson, and former Olympia champion Sergio Oliva come around only once in a life time. These men all were known for their different attributes, each one of them bringing their own strengths to the stage. Serge Nubret had a well balanced physique, completely shredded with full muscle bellies. Robby Robinson was also impressive with his well shaped arm and legs with a V-Taper and vacuum that would made any fan of classic bodybuilding proud. Sergio Oliva was simply a force to be reckoned with, his overall massive size for the day accentuated by his ability to maintain a narrow waist.

These three bodybuilders are all legends and at one point, if you were lucky enough, you could see each one of them on stage together. The below Instagram post showcases just how special these three legends were and why they able to reach such revered status.
