Guy Cisternino To Compete In The Open Weight Division At The Arnold Classic Australia

The 212 competitor hopes to test his limits.

Pushing your boundaries has always been the key component of becoming a championship level pro bodybuilder. While there are many different weight classes and categories in bodybuilding these days, most hardcore bodybuilding fans are always going to be interested in the open weight division simply because it’s the only category that has no limits. Any competitor in the open weight division has their own say on how they should present their physical form as well as how much muscle they can pack onto their frame. Testing the limits is the nature of a true bodybuilder and it seems that Guy Cisternino is willing to do just that heading into the Arnold Classic Australia.

After competing in the 212 division at the 2017 Arnold Sports Festival, Guy Cisternino has received an unexpected invitation to compete in the open weight division. While it’s far from likely that he’ll take the top spot, it’s interesting to note that Cisternino is up for the task and is taking it seriously. He doesn’t have a ton of time to prepare however and will have to push himself to the limit in order to bring a strong showing at the Arnold Classic down under.

But if you think this is simply just a gimmick then you’re wrong. Like a true bodybuilder, Guy Cisternino is pushing himself hard in the gym solely to test his limits. Who knows? One day we could all be looking back at this moment as the time that Guy Cisternino shocked the world and cracked the top five in the open weight division at a major show.

How high do you think Guy Cisternino will be placed?
