McGregor vs Mayweather made a reality?

Both fighters have been exchanging words towards each other. Now the money man says that the dream team fight will probably happen. Not only that – but McGregor still claims that fighting Mayweather is his biggest concern.

During a Q&A session in Manchester Conor McGregor had these choice words to share:

“One-hundred percent,” McGregor said when asked if Mayweather will be his next fight. “I believe the next time I step into a combat arena will be through the ropes wearing 10-ounce or eight-ounce gloves. I believe so.”

On top of that, the reigning UFC champ has recently been granted a licence permitting him to box in the state of California in December of 2016.

Speaking with Sky Sports, Mayweather claims that Conor McGregor will be the only fight that can bring him back into the ring and that “Most likely the fight between me and Conor McGregor will happen.”

We’ve never been so close to this ultimate fight becoming a reality. Perhaps it is still all talk… but the consistency that these two athletes keep bringing it up leads us to believe that both sides are taking it seriously. If nothing happens after all this talk and all this time it might be one of the most disappointing and frustrating moments in recent MMA history.
