Video game adaptations have usually struggled in the past. For the most part writers and directors fail to capture what makes the games so popular. Rather than play to strengths, most film makers fall into the trap of changing far too much and ruining a good thing.

But like every film adaptation before it, the upcoming Uncharted film aims to go above and beyond the average video game movie. The upcoming adaptation is set to be headlined by Spider-Man star Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg.

While Tom Holland has always stayed in shape for his role as Spider-Man, it appears he’s taking his upcoming role as Nathan Drake just as seriously. In a recent post to Instagram, Holland showcased his impressive physique as well as a shout out to Walhberg.
