No one lives in a perfect bubble unaffected by the rest of the world. But by its very nature, bodybuilding is an isolating sport. One that requires a very strict routine both inside and outside of the gym. And when it’s time for competition prep… a bodybuilder becomes so laser focused on perfecting and cutting down to a shredded physique that the rest of the world fades away.
Yet in reality it doesn’t fade away – and sometimes you will have outside sources tugging away at your routine. At its worst, you’ll have people telling you to give up. Telling you that you are not good enough. Telling you that you are wasting your time. Sometimes these outside voices can start influencing your inner voice. Start making you doubt yourself.
