Will Kai Greene Return to Face Phil Heath at the 2020 Olympia?

Is Kai Greene hinting at a return to competition against Phil Heath?

UPDATE 5/24/2020:  Though there has been no official confirmation from Olympia – nor has Kai clarified if he would 100% compete.

The 2019 Olympia is here and speculation is running rampant as to who will take top honors at the biggest bodybuilding event of the year. Many have suggested that Brandon Curry is the front runner for winning the Mr. Olympia at this year’s show. Others are touting Dexter Jackson, William Bonac, Roelly Winklaar, or even Hadi Choopan as potential contenders for taking the top spot at the show.

But while a great deal of fans and competitors are focused on who will be crowned Mr. Olympia in 2019, there are those who are more interested in what’s to come. That’s right, people are already focused on the 2020 Olympia and with good reason.

With Phil Heath and Shawn Rhoden absent at this year’s show, many are already patiently waiting for the come back of both former Olympia champions. But a new development may give fans even more reason to get excited for the 2020 show.

Kai Greene.

While many wondered if Kai Greene would compete at the 2019 Olympia, the bodybuilder’s full plate of acting and entrepreneurship ensured that he’d be missing the show this year. But a recent post to his social media has sparked the rumor that Kai Greene will return in 2020. His motivation for the return? A chance to finally defeat his long time rival Phil Heath.

Instagram post below by Kai Greene indicates that not only is he willing to make a return to action, but that he wishes to do so in order to get a victory over Phil Heath.
