After Loss at BFC 6, Paulie Malignaggi Posts Brutal Pics of Destroyed Fists

Paulie Malignaggi posts some brutal pics of his fists.

If you tuned in last Saturday for Bareknuckle Fighting Championships 6 then you know that Paulie Malignaggi lost a somewhat controversial decision to bitter rival Artem Lobov. The battle certainly wasn’t one for the ages, but there were indeed some moments of excitement during the bout.

While Paulie Malignaggi tried his best to use his years of boxing knowledge and skill in the bout, it didn’t translate over as well as it could have, especially considering that the bout lasted for only five rounds. The kinds of tactics Malignaggi used would have worked great for a twelve or even ten round boxing match. In a bare knuckle fight however, jabs to the body have a little less effect. With five two minute rounds there isn’t enough time in the match to make those body shots count down the stretch.

Artem Lobov didn’t all that much better himself, but his pressure and punch count in the last two rounds of the match proved to be the difference. Paulie Malignaggi was far from pleased with the decision, but in reality neither man should have been surprised if they took an L. No one definitively won or lost that match.

But for anyone doubting that Paulie Malignaggi did some decent work in the fight, the Instagram post below should put that notion to bed.

Do you think Paulie Malignaggi should have won his fight with Artem Lobov?
