Khabib Nurmagomedov Goes Off! Threatens to Leave the UFC if They Fire Teammate

It appears the fallout from UFC 229 is far from over.

UFC 229 was an historic event featuring two of the best mixed martial artists to ever compete inside the UFC’s Octagon. Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor developed their fair share of bad blood in the lead up to their fateful encounter at what was billed as the biggest fight in UFC history.

While he may have been victorious, Khabib Nurmagomedov still wasn’t satisfied with a victory over his rival and took to charging at Conor McGregor’s camp. A massive melee ensued outside the cage as well as inside as Khabib Nurmagomedov’s teammates fought with Conor McGregor inside the Octagon.

Suffice it to say, the UFC and Nevada State Athletic Commission was less than thrilled.

Since then, Khabib Nurmagomedov has seen his fight purse withheld and his teammates’ UFC contracts subsequently scrapped. But the UFC Lightweight champion isn’t taking the treatment lying down and has since issued a scathing statement to the leading MMA promotion.

What do you think of this new statement from Khabib Nurmagomedov?
