ANDRE FERGUSON COULD BE THE MAN TO DETHRONE JEREMY BUENDIA

A bronze Sandow could be in Andre Ferguson’s future.

When it comes to competitive bodybuilding many fans tend to focus on one weight class in particular. The open weight division has for years been the main focus for every bodybuilding competition. Many like the “freak show” factor, the idea that these athletes can grow their muscle to a disproportionate size, literally looking like something straight out of a comic book. But these days open weight bodybuilding isn’t the only draw for competitions. There is also Bikini and Men’s Physique that bring in the numbers these days. The latter division has been ruled by Jeremy Buendia for two years now. But Andre Ferguson could one day give Buendia a run for his money.

Andre Ferguson has only been a pro for two years but has still managed to make a decent amount of headway in his career so far. After taking first place at the Baltimore Pro in the Physique category, Ferguson is planning on bringing a winning streak along with him into the Olympia by triumphing at the upcoming Tampa Pro show.

Ferguson himself has stated that he’s not claiming he can become an Olympia champion, at least not this year, but he does imply that he wants to prove that he truly has the best physique when he takes to the stage. From the looks of things, Ferguson could prove to be one of Jeremy Buendia’s biggest threats.

Do you think Andre Ferguson can become an Olympia champion?
