DALLAS MCCARVER: FUTURE CONTENDER FOR THE MR. OLYMPIA TITLE

A future in Dallas.

Bodybuilding much like many other sports is filled with a ton of different athletes, all them from different backgrounds with their own expertise. Many of the athletes who compete in bodybuilding won’t even have the chance to ever rise above hopeful contender, cursed to forever be a top 15 competitor and nothing more. Don’t get us wrong, that in itself is still very impressive, to rise through the ranks to be able to compete at the Mr. Olympia is truly a feat that should be commended. But no one who competes in sports willingly chooses to come in last place. The top spot is every competitors ultimate goal.

With Phil Heath’s dominance, often times it’s hard to think of any bodybuilder who could ever actually topple the Olympia King. Whether Heath stays atop the mountain to win ten Sandows or not, the ultimate truth is that he won’t be able to do it forever. Eventually there are going to be young, hungry lions looking to dethrone the current champion. Many have already speculated on who that could be and really it’s all subjective. No one will be able to actually know who that successor will be until it actually comes to pass, but in there are some possible young contenders that looked poised for future greatness. One of those young men is undoubtedly Dallas McCarver.

Dallas is young, hungry, and he’s only just beginning his bodybuilding career. He has already competed in an Olympia show despite only recently turning pro. He has all the elements needed to be a future contender and looks poised to do just that. Standing an above average six feet tall and weighing 260 lbs, Dallas has the frame and size to become a potential threat to any of the bodybuilders currently at the top of the sport.

With time and muscle maturity who knows how far this kid could go. If his natural physical gifts weren’t enough, it appears that he has the backing of one of the most successful, not to mention coolest, individuals in the sport, Dana Linn Bailey. Check out this impressive video of the young contender benching 200 lbs dumbbells!
