It seems as if the dream may become a reality.
While many believed that the Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor math up was just a pipe dream, it seems as if things are beginning to move in the right direction for the bout to come to fruition. According ESPN, Mayweather added fuel to the proverbial fire when he stated that the bout is “getting very, very close” to being signed and eventually promoted. Is this simply hyperbole on the part of Floyd Mayweather or will we actually get to see him face off with Conor McGregor? Only time will tell, but something tells me that Dana White will have some say in the matter.
