Heber Cannon and Marston Sawyer are the Buttery Bros, two filmmakers and fitness enthusiast with a pretty interesting storytelling style. There latest crack on storytelling sees the Buttery Bros joining forces with Kai Greene to do CrossFit in Times Square, NY.

The Buttery Bros have begun to establish themselves for their positive nature and enthusiasm for their craft. That same enthusiasm has translated over to fitness as well.

While much of their content is focused on CrossFit, the two have now ventured into bodybuilding territory. On their latest episode the Buttery Bros collaborated with none other than Kai Greene.

One of the most popular and recognizable bodybuilders in the world, Kai Greene continues to venture into new and interesting territory. While CrossFit was on the agenda of their meeting, Kai Greene also put the Buttery Bros through some leg day training. It was pretty brutal to say the least.

Before they got into the training proper, Kai Greene revealed that he currently weighs a massive 290lbs.

“I just forgot, I’m like 290lbs today. Yeah man, I’m short, but I’m compact.”

After that it was time for training. Kai Greene put the Buttery Bros through some serious leg day exercises that had their lower half on fire.

Kai also revealed how he got into bodybuilding at a young age.

“I saw a martial arts films when I was a kid with these young people that were probably no more than 4 or 5 years old,” said Kai. “And they were already like some elite martial artists.

“And I remember thinking by the time I was 9, I was like ‘Man, I’m probably getting too old.’

“I wanted to find something that I could get into, that, you know, I could develop some level of skill that I enjoyed.

“Martial arts, like karate, taking classes required you to go somewhere and spend money that we didn’t have. So, push ups.”

The crew then were off to Manhattan where they filmed Kai taking on some CrossFit challenges.
