Cintia Goldani suffered from blood clots after contracting pneumonia.

Figure bodybuilder Cintia Goldani has passed away at 36 years old due to complications of blood clots after contracting pneumonia. Musclecontest International shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday.

Goldani was preparing to compete in an event organized by Musclecontest International in July.

“With great pain and sadness, I hereby inform you the passing of Professional Figure Athlete @cintiagoldanipro due to complications from pneumonia.”

According to local media outlets, Goldani was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday. Her cause of death was confirmed as a result of a pulmonary embolism, which can be caused by heavy lifting and exercise.

Cintia Goldani was a rising star in the Figure division. She began her professional career just three years ago in 2021 but made a great impression early on. Goldani was scheduled to appear at the Musclecontest Brazil in July and take the next step on stage.

Goldani built a great following in Brazil as she became a national star on the bodybuilding stage. She made an impact on and off the stage. Goldani worked as a posing coach and trainer as she wanted to help others improve in the sport of bodybuilding.
