‘Code Red: Diaries Of Madness’ Debuts Top 5 Sports Documentary

Code Red: Diaries Of Madness reaches the top five on iTunes’ sports documentary best sellers.

This past Friday, Code Red: Diaries Of Madness was released on all major digital platforms. The new documentary focused on one of the former boxing champion and celebrity fitness trainer, Cristy Nickel, and her journey to transform her physique in just six months for a bodybuilding competition. And now according to iTunes’ digital charts, Code Red: Diaries Of Madness has debuted within the top five in the sports documentary best seller list.

Generation Iron has been dedicated to bringing unique bodybuilding and strength sports stories to the forefront. Our vast catalog of diverse subjects aim to achieve just that – with recent releases including DRIVEN: The Tony Pearson Story, GASPARI, and Bradley Martyn: The Influencer.

Code Red: Diaries Of Madness is Generation Iron’s latest feature film release – focusing on a different side of bodybuilding and strength sports. Depicting a 46 year old woman going through a six month bodybuilding transformation in order to compete in a Figure competition, Code Red showcases what success and determination look like outside of the pro bodybuilding space.

And it seems that the Code Red story of Cristy Nickel resonated with fans, as the film has charted in the top five of the iTunes Sports Documentary bestsellers list:

The Code Red Journey To Transformation

Cristy “Code Red” Nickel has dedicated the latter part of her life to helping motivate and transform others through health and fitness. Known for her intense “scared straight” coaching tactics – Nickel often focuses on clientele who are middle aged, facing potential health risks, and need to transform their diet, health, and life.

As a former champion boxer and celebrity fitness trainer herself, Cristy Nickel understands how to bring individuals to true levels of excellence. She decided to take that skill and bring it to the average person who wants a change, not to become a champion but to become a happier and healthier individual.

However, after years of focusing and training others, Cristy Nickel has found herself unhappy with her own health and fitness levels. She is a far cry from the fit boxing champion she was before her Code Red Lifestyle training business. Determined to hold herself up to the same standards as she has for her clients – Cristy decides to transform her physique in six months to compete in a bodybuilding show. The goal? To win the whole competition.

Code Red: Diaries Of Madness chronicles this journey while also diving back into the life story of Cristy Nickel. It’s an engaging film about assessing human limits as we age – and the role that motivation can play in transforming a persons life.

How far can motivation take you when sh*t hits the fan? When you are on month five of a six month transformation and suddenly hit a wall? Code Red: Diaries Of Madness provides a level of all access intimacy often unseen in the fitness world. The ups, the downs, and everything in between.
