The bodybuilding world has been shaken by the untimely death of another promising young athlete. On May 26, 2024, the news of German bodybuilder Kevin Gebhardt’s unexpected passing spread across social media, leaving fans and fellow athletes in shock. Currently no cause of death has been revealed.

Kevin Gebhardt’s career was on a significant upward trajectory. Gebhardt earned his pro card with the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB Pro) on September 29, 2018, during the EVLS Prague Pro Qualifier. This achievement marked him as one to watch in the competitive bodybuilding scene.

Sarcev also revealed that in his last conversation with Gebhardt sometime in 2023, Kevin had mentioned his desire to compete in regional bodybuilding shows. Gebhardt had taken an extended break to travel and train with Sarcev and other pros like Dorian Yates, but his passion for competing remained strong.
