Conor McGregor Has No Chance Against Floyd Mayweather According To Odds

What are the odds of Conor McGregor pulling off a major upset?

So, it’s finally happening and the combat world has been flipped on its head. Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are set to do battle on August 26, 2017. A number of different opinions have already come out in regards to the coming boxing match. Some believe Conor McGregor has absolutely no right to even step into the ring with Floyd Mayweather. Others believe the match up is a disgrace to boxing.

The truth is that whether you love or hate the match up, it’s still a bout that people will want to see out of pure curiosity and the spectacle it provides. Detractors and fans of this match up will indeed have something to take away in the match up this unprecedented.

Despite the hype however, the odds makers are already chiming in and giving Conor McGregor no chance to best one of the greatest boxers of all time. It’s not without reason. Mayweather has mastered the ability of throwing his hands while McGregor has spent a predominant amount of time sharpening all of his fighting skills.

What do the odds makers think about this match up? Well, it appears that while McGregor was considered a hypothetical 10-1 underdog against Mayweather when the bout was originally rumored, the line has lowered all the way down to 4-1. That seems like pure madness to me, but you never know, McGregor could get a mind boggling upset and make some people pretty rich in the process.

What do you think the odds should be for the Floyd Mayweather/Conor McGregor showdown?
