THROWBACK: Larry Wheels Shows INSANE Strength! Does 315 Lbs Overhead Press For Multiple Reps!

Larry Wheels possesses a different level of strength.

We all know that powerlifting is a different beast than bodybuilding. But whether you’re a powerlifting fan or not, you have to appreciate just how impressive it is to obtain an inhuman amount of strength through consistent training and hard work.

Larry Wheels is the definition of power. He not only is a champion powerlifter, but he’s also built a powerful physique worthy of the bodybuilding stage. With his sights set on becoming the World’s Strongest Pro Bodybuilder, Larry Wheels continues to push himself and strive for more strength and physique gains.

The overhead press can completely wreck your shoulders if you don’t have the strength and stability to pull off the movement. But Larry Wheels isn’t your average human being. For him, a 315 Lbs overhead press for reps is simply light work. Take a look at this awesome feat of strength.

WATCH: Latest Classic Physique Updates Show Breon Might Have A Fight On His Hands At Olympia 2019

WATCH: Jeremy Buendia Issues Public Apology While Denying Domestic Violence

Jeremy Buendia apologies for his stated anger issues while denying any physical abuse.

New broke earlier in July that Jeremy Buendia had been accused of physically abusing his ex-girlfriend Laura Amaral. Amaral posted pictures online showcasing her injuries that were supposedly due to Jeremy Buendia physically abusing her. Since then there had been a lot of fallout for Buendia including one of his sponsors, Steel Supplements officially dropped him. Buendia had been silent up until this point.

Jeremy Buendia has now issued a public apology via an Instagram IG TV post on his official account. In the video, Buendia admits to anger issues that he claims he will begin to get professional help for – and also admits to verbally abusing women in the past.

He also makes a point to deny any physical abuse stating, “I’ve never ever been convicted of any domestic violence towards a woman. I have never hit a woman in any shape, way, or form. I want to make that very clear.”

Nathan De Asha Pleads Guilty to Illegal Distribution of Anabolic Steroids

Nathan De Asha pleads guilty.

And the shocking news just seems to keep flowing as IFBB Pro Nathan De Asha recently pleaded guilty to distribution of illegal anabolic steroids. The Liverpool Echo reported on this news offering details on the situation including what charges Nathan De Asha has plead guilty to.

Via The Liverpool Echo:

“Britain’s top bodybuilder has admitted dealing in illegal anabolic steroids.

Liverpool-based Nathan Deasha, who performs with the nickname The Prophecy, sent a package of the class C drug through the post to a gym.

The steroids were found when police raided the Pain and Gain gym in Barnstaple in Devon in August 2017 while investigating an unrelated drugs case.

A sender’s address on the package led officers to alert colleagues in Liverpool, where Deasha runs his own body building studio.”

Most recently seen at the Vancouver Pro, Nathan De Asha has already qualified for the 2019 Olympia. But after pleading guilty to the sale of anabolic steroids it’s anyone’s guess as to if Nathan De Asha will compete at the Olympia this year. For now we’ll have to wait and see what judgement Liverpool lawmakers decide.

OPINION: Why Would Phil Heath Miss Out On A Chance To Win An Easy $400k?

The Olympia 2019 lineup is diminished… so why won’t Phil Heath come back?

Let’s be clear right at the start of this write up, Phil Heath has not officially confirmed or denied whether or not he’ll compete at the Olympia 2019. While there were early statements he made right after his 2018 loss claiming he would likely take a year off – we have heard nothing since.

Instead, we’ve seen a lot. Phil has been keeping in incredible shape and making very vague posts that many hungry fans take to imply he’ll return to the stage this year. We’re not buying it just yet but Phil has certainly kept in good enough shape to believably compete if he wanted to.

Which brings us to our main point, why doesn’t Phil Heath come back this year? As you can see from a video update compilation above by our content partner Fazi Fitness – Phil can make a relatively easy $400k this year if he wanted to. The main reason being that the Olympia 2019 lineup has completely changed. Shawn Rhoden can no longer compete due to sexual assault allegations and Big Ramy doesn’t seem to be competing due to an injury earlier this year. These two people were arguably the biggest threat to Phil Heath.

The wild cards here are Brandon Curry and Dexter Jackson. Brandon has been showing incredible improvement year after year and looks to be a true threat for anyone looking to get that Sandow trophy. Dexter Jackson has always been in the top 6 running (except for last year) and always has the chance to pull off something that tips him over the edge into victory.

But again, Phil Heath has previously proven that he can beat these two competitors year after year. Of course, nothing is guaranteed – but whatever fear Phil may have had about rushing to get back should be largely alleviated due to a truly diminished lineup. Arguably, the odds are more in Phil Heath’s favor than ever before. And with a big prize purse on the line it could be just tempting enough to jump back in and earn that cash money.

Will Phil Heath do it? We have no idea but our big question is why not? Phil Heath is a cocky bodybuilder – doesn’t he see that this could be his chance to become champion again, earn a record tying eight Sandow trophies, and also add $400k into his pocket? Anything can happen. Now all we can do is wait and see.
