Arnold Schwarzenegger recently revealed a price tag of $150,000 per personal training session… all benefiting a good cause.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the most famous bodybuilders of all time. So it would make sense if his personal training offer is relatively expensive, right? Well how about $150k? Schwarzenegger recently revealed that he is the most expensive personal trainer in the world… by charging $150,000 per workout session. The catch? It’s all for charity.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was at Gold’s Gym Venice this past weekend, where he made good on a charity auction he held at his home previously. Morris Flancbaum and his family bid $150k in order to win a personal training session with The Terminator himself. Another, as of now unnamed, auction winner also bid a matching $150k as well to join in on the weightlifting fun.

The proceeds of the auction went to the After-School All-Stars, a charity that Arnold Schwarzenegger founded and has been involved with since 2002. The charity provides after-school programs, exercise, and education for 100,000 children in over 60 cities.

In total, $1.75 million was earned via the auction and a total of $5.2 million in additional donations were secured. In addition to the training session, Arnold Schwarzenegger also auctioned off clothes, art, and even a ride in his tank. Guests also paid $50,000 just to attend the event. Notable appearances include Sylvester Stallone, Dany DeVito, and Dolph Lundgren.

After-School All-Stars also announced that they have opened a brand new school program in Uvalde, Texas at the request of the city.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Investment Into The Fitness Community

It’s no secret that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been dedicated to contributing to the bodybuilding and fitness world with his many successes. Beyond his continued dedication to the After-School All-Stars, Schwarzenegger also recently commented on his financial investments in keeping the world-famous Arnold Classic bodybuilding competition and Arnold Sports Expo active – even during the harshest period of the pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused lockdowns throughout the world and certainly in the United States in 2020 well into 2021. This posed a challenge for live events such as the Arnold Classic. While the competition was limited in comparison to previous years – Arnold Schwarzenegger and his team made sure that there would be no halting the event. Nor would the prize money be reduced for the athletes competing.

“It was an easy choice. I tell people the most important think you can learn is the difference between spending, and investing. Spending is a loss, but I consider the past few years an investment in the sport of bodybuilding and a our fitness crusade. I also know it was a tough time for a lot of people financially and the athletes needed that prize money more than I did.”

For Arnold Schwarzenegger, bodybuilding and fitness was the gateway into his success. He sees bodybuilding not only as a sport – but as a lifestyle that promotes healthy goals and improvement in life. This is the reason Schwarzenegger utilized fitness as a tool for his After-School All-Stars program. He wanted to provide growth, both mentally and physically, for kids who need it. Who have no where to go after school or not enough money to engage in recreational activities.
