Antoine Vaillant Suffers Full Bicep Tear Ahead of Toronto Pro

Some bad news for Antoine Vaillant…

Just when things looked to be going amazing for Open Weight bodybuilder Antoine Vaillant, some pretty terrible news has hit the net.

According to Antoine Vaillant, he recently tore his bicep during his prep for the Toronto Pro approaching soon. Antoine Vaillant made a statement about the unfortunate news and posted to Instagram to address his fans on the situation.

Bad news : full bicep rupture/tear = no competing soon. I was so ready to battle it out… but here is another challenge to overcome. I am documenting everything for my youtube, first video is actually online right now, just click the link in my bio. It happened not even during training, it was moving something heavy on the ground.. jerked it wrong and heard the dreaded VELCRO sound. You know what’s good though? TODAY IS LEG DAY!!!!!! ????PS: Do not DM me about this since I won’t be able to answer all messages, if you want to know more watch the video, link in bio… thanks everybody for the support, LET’S KEEP ON MOVING FORWARD!

Antoine Vaillant talks at length about the injury and what caused the injury to occur.

This injury could set Antoine Vaillant back for at least a year depending on doctor’s recommendations. From the sounds of things, Vaillant still wants to attempt to compete. We’ll have to wait and see how that all turns out. The Generation Iron Team sends our well wishes to Antoine Vaillant and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
