It’s common for parents to expose their children to a wide variety of sports early so that they can potentially develop an interest to something that they might not have experienced otherwise. But when it comes to bodybuilding, a sport the relies heavily on… well, lifting heavy, there becomes a controversial question mark regarding children and lifting weights. Could it be dangerous and damaging for children to lift at a prepubescent age? Or is it like any other sport that can help teach organization and discipline at an early age? Kai Greene and Krystal Lavenne dive head first into the issue – sharing their personal experiences of when they first started lifting heavy and touch upon extreme cases.
