Wesley Vissers Gives Brutally Honest Critique On His Own Physique

This is how you fix weak points.

When it comes to the ideology of what the perfect bodybuilder should look like, the battle always ends up coming down to being a mass monster or having a more classic physique. While many will say classic wins all day, there are many others that would suggest mass monsters represent the pinnacle of human potential. It’s all a matter of opinion after all. For Wesley Vissers, building a classic physique has always been his main goal and he’s succeeding at doing just that.

This past weekend saw Wesley Vissers compete at a bodybuilding show. The advocate for traditional bodybuilding took to stage with a pretty impressive showing. Take a look at the post below that details not only Wesley Vissers’ impressive physical form, but the man himself breaking down his own strengths and weaknesses.

Still waiting for better pictures BUT I ended up 4th of 13 BIG Eastern Europe bodybuilders. To everybody’s surprise the crop of bodybuilders that showed up to the show were extremely good! A lot of mass and very conditioned physiques. Even though this show didn’t portray old school bodybuilding, I was now able to properly see what I need to work on to be a complete bodybuilder. Proportions are of utmost importance to a classic bodybuilder and what I need to work on was confirmed by standing next to mass monsters like this: 1. Conditioning in the legs 2. Hamstring development and quad sweep 3. Back thickness The above three are my priorities right now. However, in 4 weeks I’ll do another show and as this was a very educational experience, I will then once again show you a completely improved package. From the Arnold Classic last year I gained 10 kg already and I’ve been working hard to put it on all the right places. That’s what bodybuilding is all about guys. Find out what your weak points are and do your absolute best to crush them. THANK you all for your support and a very special thank you to my coach @ferdirobeyns and my dad @rinirinivissers for helping backstage and much more. Everything will be shown in detail on my #VintageGenetics channel of course! This is just the beginning, the future is bright. ? #StayGolden
