WORTHY OF HIS NAME: BIG RAMY GETTING BACK INTO MASSIVE FORM

Generation Iron Big Ramy Massive

Looks like Big Ramy is still keeping it BIG.

Let’s face it, mass monsters are the dominant force in bodybuilding today. Ever since Dorian Yates hit the scene in the late 80s into the early 90s the mass monster has been at the forefront of bodybuilding aesthetics. For a professional looking to win big in the open weight division it’s almost a requirement that you need to pack on muscle and plenty of it. It’s the reason why despite all his talent and proportion that men like Shawn Roden and Cedric McMillan haven’t been able to pick up big wins in the Arnolds or the Olympia.

In reality, it’s all a matter of opinion on what physique is truly the best when it comes to bodybuilding. While many do think mass monsters are the way to go, there are a great deal of people who believe that classic physiques, with a v taper and adequate symmetry, still rule the day. But there are some massive bodybuilders that despite their size still manage to look aesthetics. One of the best examples of this on the professional stage is no doubt Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay.

The only man to ever compete on a professional bodybuilding stage at a weight of over 300 lbs, Big Ramy is the absolute definition of the mass monster that dominates the sort today. Ironically it was perhaps his massive size that hurt him at his showing during the 2005 Olympia. Though his size was a sight to behold he did look a bit too huge for his own good. Because of that reason Big Ramy lost a tremendous amount of weight during the off season. It seemed as though he’s trying to reassess and figure out whether he should be aiming for massive size or focusing on another plan of action for this coming season.

Well if you were wondering if Big Ramy was going to focus more on aesthetics over size heading into this season then you can rest easy. The video below has all the answers.
