Fitness World Mourns the Sudden Passing of Eric The Trainer

Eric Fleishman aka Eric the Trainer has suddenly passed away.

A truly sad day in the fitness industry as we are sad to report that Eric Phillip Fleishman, also known as Eric The Trainer, has suddenly passed away. The passing was confirmed by his wife, Alysia.

One of the most successful and most popular trainers in the fitness industry today, Eric Fleishman was a true inspiration. Initially starting his own fitness journey as a young man seeking to better himself and become stronger. He would succeed in that journey and go on to be one of the most respected fitness trainers in the industry.

He worked with many different celebrities and professional athletes to help them reach their own fitness and performance goals including Ethan Suplee, Kirstie Alley, Michelle Brach, Rachel Crow, and boy band Big Time Rush.

Fleishman was also a frequent contributor to the fitness magazine Muscle & Fitness, where he also sat on the advisory board. He also worked with Muscle & Fitness for select produced video projects. Eric Fleishman was also previously named to the Gold’s Gym fitness institute, where he serves as an expert and global spokesperson for the organization.

Gone Too Soon

Eric Fleishman passed away on November 24, 2022 to the surprise of everyone. A recent post to his social media provided some details on his sudden passing.

We are heartbroken to share that Eric Phillip Fleishman passed away unexpectedly on the morning of November 24, 2022. His wife Alysia, son, parents, and close friends/family are deeply saddened by this event. 

Eric touched many lives for the better. He was a beacon of light, hope, and love. 

Eric’s family welcomes the community to join them in celebrating his life by sharing experiences, memories, and tributes to [email protected]
