Down with the king of all exercises?!
The squat. It’s often renowned as the king of all exercises. The squat can make an athlete build some explosive strength and, for a bodybuilder, cultivate some massive legs, specifically in the quads.
But the interesting thing about bodybuilding is that certain exercises, though exceptional for a great deal of people, aren’t necessarily going to work for everyone. After all, genetics do play a major role in how far a bodybuilder can push their bodies to build massive muscle. For some individuals, the squat is doing great things for their strength gains, but not enough in the way of muscle building.
Jordan Peters, an experienced competitive bodybuilder and trainer, described that while the squat may have helped him certain aspects of his training, they did little in the way of building up his wheels. To look at Jordan Peters is to know that the man puts in a ton of work at the gym, including having some very well developed legs. So then why is Peters suggesting that squats may not be the way to go for your leg training? Check out the post below.
Do you think Jordan Peters is correct about squats.
