Using Human Dumbbells Is Bringing Eddie Hall To The Next Level

Eddie Hall has his own brand of dumbbells.

There’s a big difference between being a bodybuilder and strongman. Both types of athletes are concerned with getting an adequate amount of calories into their bodies, but where bodybuilders are more concerned with macronutrients, a strongman looks at a calorie as a calorie, unconcerned with the nutrient percentages. It’s just one example of how the endeavor of bodybuilding and being a strongman are different. While both deal with strength, strongman training focuses purely on building greater strength while bodybuilding is solely about building quality muscle. You can find a great many similarities in the training methods of both athletes, one that strongman Eddie Hall can attest to.

Strength Wars Movie

One of the biggest and baddest competitors in strongman history, Eddie Hall is a man who is world renowned for his unbelievable strength. Besides being a strongman competitor, Eddie Hall can also be found at a major bodybuilding or powerlifting festival breaking world records in the deadlift. But just like bodybuilding personality Bradley Martyn, Eddie Hall has a good sense of humor and like many of us in the gym is constantly looking to break up the monotony of average training.

We’ve all seen the videos of Bradley Martyn barbell squatting with women taking the place of plates, now it seems that Eddie Hall is jumping on the bandwagon. A recent Facebook video has dropped once again showcasing Eddie Hall and his incredible strength. But rather than using weights, The strongman uses other lifters as dumbbells. Take a look at the Facebook video below to see the spectacle.
