Five-Time Classic Physique Champion Chris Bumstead is answers questions thrown his way, including about dating.
The reigning Classic Physique Olympia champion, Chris Bumstead has been asked many questions over the course of his career. Whether it is about prep or even retirement, Bumstead is prepared with answers at length. Of course, when a question about fitness, training or even in this case, dating is thrown at him, Bumstead is ready and waiting with an answer.
Bumstead and his fiancee, Courtney King, have been engaged since 2022. The couple just celebrated the birth of their first child in April. Bumstead shared a post on Mother’s Day honoring his partner and what she means to their family.
On Monday, Max Sharkey shared a video with Bumstead where he got to ask the bodybuilding champion about dating and his best tip for getting a girlfriend. Bumstead confirmed, “You get the right girlfriend by being yourself.”
“I got a question, how do I get a girlfriend?”
“That’s a great question. It’s not about how you get a girlfriend, it’s how do you get the girlfriend. You get the right girlfriend by being yourself cause she needs to fall in love with your real self, not some fake self you create.”

Bumstead is now a five-time Classic Physique Olympia winner, having taken home the title in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. As the defending champion, it is his title to lose, but he is certain to not let that happen, beating out awesome competitors like Ramon Dino and now the Arnold Classic Champ who beat Ramon, Wesley Vissers. By developing a serious training routine, effective nutrition plan, and efficient supplementation for contest prep, Chris is more than ready to defend his title and continue his bodybuilding dominance.
