Chris Bumstead is looking at add more size while remaining shredded this offseason.

Chris Bumstead is back in the gym during his offseason and is entering his bulking phase. The five-time Classic Physique Olympia champion is looking to add even more size while remaining shredded. During his bulk, Bumstead shared a full day of eating that consists of 3,800 calories.

Chris Bumstead is coming off his fifth consecutive Classic Physique Olympia title in November. His prep for this show seemed to be a bit easier than that of 2022, when Bumstead had to battle a torn bicep on his way to victory. Bumstead has talked about many treatments to stay ahead of his health.

The conversation of retirement has been surrounding Bumstead for over a year now but his sights remain set on the 2024 Olympia competition.

Chris Bumstead’s Fun Day of Eating

Chris Bumstead took to YouTube to share his full day of eating. He has maintained a steady and balanced diet for his latest goals that include building his best physique yet.

Meal One

We have seen many bodybuilders attack breakfast in different ways but the one constant is that it is usual a hefty meal to begin the day. Bumstead’s choices are no different during his bulk.

  • Eggs
  • Potatoes
  • Turkey bacon
  • Avocado
  • Kiwi

“This is the beginning of my bulk. I want to get huge but I don’t want to get fat so I’m going to be showing you guys what I’m eating. Probably four to five meals a day, depending on how my day goes.”

Meal Two

Bumstead’s second meal of the day came from MegaFit. It consisted of sweet potato fries and chicken, which equaled 577 calories. Bumstead spoke on MegaFit and how they prepare their food.

  • 250g sweet potatoes
  • 220g chicken breast

“They make sweet potato fries that are literally just sweet potatoes with seasoning on them. If you see any meals like that, they are always good. Sometimes they have this garlic mayo dip.”

Meal Three

Chris Bumstead broke out another MegaFit meal for his third of the day. He admitted that this was not the most fun day of eating but it is what he typically does during a bulk.

  • Bison
  • Brown rice pasta
  • Red sauce

“This is not the most glorious full day of eating but it’s real. It’s what I typically eat.”

“I’ve been eating higher amounts of protein, typically I would eat like 180-200 grams but because I only eating four to five meals a day.”

Meal Five
