Ramon Rocha Queiroz, otherwise known as Ramon “Dino”, was born in February 9, 1995 in Acre, Brazil, however he was raised in Portugal. Ramon currently does not share much regarding his family and personal life. It is known that he completed his basic education at a local private school in his hometown, but he did not attend further education as he had his eye on the prize and wanted to pursue bodybuilding professionally. Clearly that worked out, as he is one of the most mentioned names in the industry right now.

Ramon’s Competition History

Ramon Dino is still relatively a fresh face on the bodybuilding scene, yet he still has made a large splash in the community. His professional competitive career started in 2018, at the Olympia Amateur Brazil, at which he earned his IFBB Pro Card.

During the years of 2019 and 2020, Ramon was not competing. The reason for his absence is unknown, but he made a remarkable return to the stage in 2021, looking sharper than he ever had.

Ramon came in 2nd place at the 2021 Europa Pro, then went on to earn himself a 5th place spot on the Olympia stage that same year. He finished the 2021 year out at the Muscle Contest Brazil, taking first place.

Ramon (Dino) Rocha Queiroz Training

Most recently, Ramon Dino showcased a men’s classic training routine for Generation Iron in Campinas, Brazil. While many bodybuilders will focus largely on higher volume, Ramon believes in moving massive weights, more volume, and less rest between sets. However, he also is a firm believer in utilizing compound movements like squats, the barbell bench press, and deadlifts. These are movements that many bodybuilders tend to leave out of their training regimens nowadays, and instead turn to machines and cables.

Ramon obviously still utilizes the isolation exercises to fine tune the muscular detail of his body, but sticks to the heavy compounds to put on the muscle density. He knows that when he is on stage, the judges are looking at every single detail on his body, and he has to be ready for that, which is why his training involves diverse movements.

When it comes to cardio, Ramon focuses more on this in the on-season rather than the off-season. During the off-season he is focused mainly on getting in calories and packing on muscle mass, so cardio is not used as much. However, in the on-season, Ramon is trying to get as shredded as possible while keeping his muscle mass.
