The match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will take place on July 20.
Jake Paul has taken the world of boxing by storm and has caused many opinions, positive and negative, since he burst to the scene. Now, he will get a chance to step in the ring with one of the best of all-time. On Thursday, it was announced that Paul will take on Mike Tyson in a bout scheduled for July 20.
It has been confirmed that Tyson and Paul will square off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX as the main event part of a card that will hit on Netflix.

Paul began his boxing career with a knockout of former NBA player Nate Robinson. Over the years, he has taken part in many big-money events against UFC stars Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley. Paul continued to receive criticism because he was not facing professional boxers. He is coming off first-round knocks out Andre August and Ryan Bourland.
As for Tyson, his career speaks for itself. The former World Heavyweight champion is one of the most-feared boxers to ever step in the ring. In retirement, Tyson has remained in great shape and many are excited for his return to the ring. Tyson last boxed in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. His last professional fight came in 2005, a loss to Kevin McBride. Tyson’s last victory came in 2003.
Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Scheduled For July 20
The idea of Mike Tyson and Jake Paul doing battle has been discussed for years now. This will be the first venture into combat sports for Netflix, and its third live sporting event overall. In November 2023, Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions agreed to a deal with Netflix and this is the platform where the fight will be aired.
In 2020, Paul’s first ever fight with Robinson was part of the card where Tyson faced Jones Jr. Now, it has come “full circle,” according to Tyson, where he can now face Paul.
“He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT. It’s a full-circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch, as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones, and now I plan to finish him.”

There has been plenty of speculation about a fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. That can all end now with an official date set. There will be plenty of eyes watching when these two step in the ring together.
