The truth of the matter is however that a cheat day could end up meaning racking up the calories to an extent that could ruin the progress you made during the week. One cheat meal is ideal, but if you choose to have more than one then you have to make some smart choices so your hard work doesn’t go to waste.

So having a cheat meal isn’t all that horrible to your gains, but like anything else with bodybuilding it should be taken in moderation. Binge eating has never helped anyone, so we suggest you don’t start unless you don’t mind getting out of shape.
