WATCH: Kevin Levrone Talks 2018 Goals, Unusual Training Hours And His Opinion Of Dexter Jackson

Kevin Levrone has drawn a line in the sand and is ready to prove the haters wrong.

When the bodybuilding community heard Kevin Levrone was making a comeback, the initial response was mixed at best. Many believed that he had no business returning to the posing stage at the age of 52. “What else does he have to prove?” became the main rallying cry of the detractors and in a way they had a point.

Kevin Levrone had already cemented himself as one of the true greats of the sport, a man that many referred to as the uncrowned Olympia champion. Yet, despite that praise, Kevin Levrone was never actually a champion and it’s a fact that has remained circulating in his mind throughout the years.

But Levrone himself never seemed desperate in his comeback. Instead his choice to return seemed like bidding a fond farewell to the sport he loved rather than trying to hold on to some kind of glory. He always intended on making a comeback and he finally secured his chance. While he may not have been in tip top condition when he stepped onto the posing stage at the 2016 Olympia, it was certainly apparent that he had put the work in and was hoping to show that he still had what it takes.

Now that he has officially stated that 2018 would be his last year on stage, Kevin Levrone is hoping to go all out and prove to himself as well as the masses that achieving an impressive bodybuilding physique is still possible even into your fifties. The video below courtesy of Fazi Fitness shows Kevin Levrone talking about his goals for 2018 as well as his opinion on one of his compatriots and fellow veterans Dexter Jackson.
