DID BIG RAMY DESERVE SECOND PLACE?

big ramy deserved 2nd headerBig Ramy should have placed higher.

The 2016 Olympia is in the books and to everyone’s surprise, Phil Heath has once again been crowned champion…In reality it seemed to be a foregone conclusion as Phil Heath brought one of his best physiques to the biggest bodybuilding show of the year. This year the focus seemed to be entirely on Kevin Levrone and if he could make a quality comeback that could challenge the pros of the modern era. In the end, Levrone proved to be no match for the pros of today and was forced to concede defeat. During this time of speculation as to who could challenge Phil Heath for the crown, it seemed that everyone had forgotten about the talented Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay.

Big Ramy had been present on social media leading up to the show, but not nearly as much as he was last year. Instead all his time had been focused on making the best gains possible and sharpening his already impressive weapons.

Everyone already knows that Big Ramy is perhaps one of the most massive bodybuilders on the scene today. This year however, the Egyptian Hulk was noticeably smaller than last year’s show. Big Ramy knew that he needed to bring his size down to help his showing this year and he did just that. Yet even with the adjustment he still came in fourth place. Many onlookers believed that he looked good enough to at least take the number two spot at the show. One of those onlookers was luimarco who highlighted the fact on Instagram.

Medium Ramy became @big_ramy again and he is doing battle for 2nd spot. Im almost sure he’s already past flexotron. He is having it vs dexter now..he ate anabolic chicken since yesterday

So, from the image above, what did you think of Big Ramy’s showing? Do you think that he beat out Dexter Jackson and Shawn Rhoden?
