The full field of 10 finalists is set for the 2024 World’s Strongest Man.
The qualifiers of the 2024 World’s Strongest Man competition are complete. Two out of four days are complete and the finals are set. All 10 competitors will enjoy an off day on Friday before diving into the final two days of competition.
The competition began with 30 athletes split into five groups. All athletes were tasked with six events over two days as they battled for position. The overall winner of each of the five groups would advance to the finals. The other five spots were filled with the winners of the Stone-off between the second- and third-place finishers in the group.

2024 World’s Strongest Man Finalists
Here are the 10 finalists that will compete this weekend for the 2024 World’s Strongest Man championship:
- Tristain Hoath –Â Group 1 winner
- Mitchell Hooper –Â Group 2 winner
- Mathew Ragg –Â Group 3 winner
- Evan Singleton –Â Group 4 winner
- Tom Stoltman –Â Group 5 winner
- Luke Stoltman –Â Group 1 Stone-off def. Eddie Williams
- Austin Andrade –Â Group 2 Stone-off def. Ondrej Fojtu
- Aivars Smaukstelis –Â Group 3 Stone-off def. Thomas Evans
- Pavlo Kordiyaka –Â Group 4 Stone-off def. Marcus Crowder
- Wesley Derwinsky –Â Group 5 Stone-off def. Jack Schoonwinkel
The finals are set for the 2024 WSM competition and it is a new-look field. There are eight competitors who have not staff on the podium in any previous WSM competition.
Mitchell Hooper will enter the weekend looking to defend his title from 2023 WSM. He has been at the top of Strongman for two years now logging multiple victories over the course of the year. He will be tested by Tom Stoltman, who is a former two-time champion at this event.
Evan Singleton impressed during the qualifiers and will be one of the favorites to stand on the podium. He became the first competitor to qualify for the finals, which occurred prior to the final event of the second day. Luke Stoltman won the 2024 Europe’s Strongest Man title just a few weeks ago but had to qualify for the finals in the Stone-off. This is because of the incredible performance by Tristain Hoath. Mathew Ragg was the final victor in the five groups.

- Event 2 – Max Axle Press, 11:30am
- Event 3 – Keg Toss, 3pm
Sunday, May 5 – Day 2 Finals
- Event 4 – Reign Total Body Fuel’s Conan’s Wheel, 10am
- Event 5 – BFGoodrich Tires HD Terrain Deadlift, 12pm
- Event 6 – Atlas Stones, 3pm
