Bananas are extremely high in micronutrients (specifically potassium) yet very inexpensive. At less than 50 cents a pound It makes it a no brainer for any diet.

Beans

With a huge amount of fiber and extra protein for your diet, beans are hard to turn down. Beans are so inexpensive you can feed yourself for days on just a few bucks, many bodybuilders do!

Rice

There’s a reason rice is a staple in many diets, not only bodybuilders. Less than $1 per pound and can be combined with beef, fish, and poultry.

You may have many excuses as to why you can’t reach your bodybuilding and fitness goals, having only a few bucks to spend shouldn’t be one of them!
