Head Of Anti-Doping Investigation: Jon Jones Is Probably Innocent

Is Jon Jones innocent?

So, this Jon Jones doping fiasco has been truly taxing on everyone involved, from the fighter himself as well as his camp to the UFC who are most definitely less than content about this turn of events. Jon Jones was set to redeem himself after a spectacular knockout victory over Daniel Cormier back in July. Unfortunately for Jones, redemption fell out of reach when he tested positive for a performance enhancer.

So with the positive test result it seems that Jon Jones’ fate was sealed. Fans lost faith and have even been questioning all of his spectacular performances in the past. “Did he look so spectacular because he was using juice?” It’s a question that will forever plague his legacy which is truly unfortunate.

But it seems that there’s still a glimmer of hope left for the former UFC light heavyweight champion. Jeff Novitzky, the head of anti-doping investigations for the UFC has recently stated his opinions on the Jon Jones doping scandal and whether or not the former champ was knowingly guilty of taking PEDs. Was it pure negligence or did he know exactly what he was taking? Take a listen to Novitzky’s opinion on the subject.
