Cutler stressed the important of using the j-bells if your gym has them. This is because of the structure, allowing your hand to go straight down the middle and avoid obstructions.

“We’re really going to focus on that whole lat region. So this is the back, and it ties down to that V. This is where the jbells are gonna come in handy. So, We talked about the balance, we talk about the dumbbells maybe hitting something. These, your hands goes through the middle and it’s going to allow you to just have a straight plain. Ideally, it’s going to be like a piston.”

Jay Cutler hit 10-12 reps for each set during this movement. It helps build the lat region and put together an extremely wide back.
