WATCH: Phil Heath Promises To Bring His Best Ever Physique To Olympia 2018

…and also promises to tie Ronnie Coleman & Lee Haney’s record of eight Olympia wins.

Phil Heath has been relatively quiet as he prepares for the Olympia 2018 – previously making a vow not to smack talk and let his physique do the talking come September. But in his latest social media video post her is back to his cocky (albeit still restrained) self. His reigning champion confidence is beaming – and he claims that he will bring the best physique we have ever seen on him when he steps on stage. He will also win and tie the eight time Olympia champion record currently held by Ronnie Coleman and Lee Haney.

While it’s a safe bet to assume Phil Heath will land that eighth Mr. Olympia win – the bigger question is whether or not we’ll see his best physique on the stage. While it’s no doubt he has the best physique on stage every year, many would point out we haven’t seen him at his best since 2011.

What do you think will happen at this year’s Olympia 2018? Watch the video above and let us know your take in the comments!

There were over 150 athletes that registered to compete and battle on the stage. In attendance were Brasilian bodybuilding greats such as Rafael Brandao, Thiago Santisteban, Fernando Maradona and many more!

We’re also proud to announce our very first overall winner champion – Mateus Castro!

Generation Iron Show Brasil Mateo Castro Winner

We’d like to thank all of the athletes who competed and the fans that came to witness the show. Also a huge thank you to Fernando Maradona who organized and promoted the event with us. This competition was a great success and the first of many more to come in the future of bodybuilding.

Our continued goal is to place a spotlight onto the world stage of bodybuilding and give it the recognition and digital presence it deserves – this show is one early step of many!

WATCH: Hadi Choopan Guest Posing 4 Weeks Out From Olympia 2018

We may not seem him compete – but this guest posing gives us an idea of what we would have seen.

Hadi Choopan is a Men’s 212 bodybuilder that has had a dark cloud over his head – specifically, the fact that he cannot compete in the Olympia 2018 (or any other USA competition for that matter) due to the travel ban imposed by President Donald Trump. This leads to a lot of debating among fans due to the fact that Hadi might be the one bodybuilder who actually has a chance of defeating Flex Lewis.

But since they will never compete together on the Olympia stage, we’ll never truly know. That’s why Fazi Fitness has put together this video showcasing a recent guest posing Hadi Choopan did just four weeks out from the Mr. Olympia 2018. While we may not be able to see him actually compete, this guest posing shows us what could have been in Vegas this September. Check it out above – do you think he could beat Flex Lewis?

Calum von Moger Addresses Recent Bad Luck, Gives an Update on His Trials and Hardships

Calum von Moger is remaining optimistic despite recent bad luck.

Calum von Moger hasn’t been having the best of years. With multiple injuries plaguing him throughout 2018, the Australian bodybuilder has been put through the wringer. To add insult to injury, Calum has also recently faced food poisoning that once again sent him to the hospital.

Despite that, it appears that Calum is remaining optimistic about his current predicament. In a recent Instagram post, Calum von Moger once again showcased the kind of indominable spirit that he’s quickly being known for these days.

Before and after quad tear. It’s been really hard watching my muscle mass disappear over the past 17 weeks. It also sucks because I can’t train upper body the way I’d like with my bicep still torn. I did a arm workout last week on my right quad and biceps and even though I used lite weights, the following day I had bruising in my forearm. I can’t find the words to describe my frustrations not being able to train normally. Going to the gym is so important to me and right now it’s like giving a kid candy and saying they can’t eat it; I see all the big dumbbells but I can’t play with them. Anyway, I have accepted my circumstances. Being SKINNY is just going to have to be part of my recovery process for 2018. . – I plan to get the surgery done on my bicep late September following the mr. O. I’ll have 3 months of rehab for my arm again before 2019 starts. Then I will finally kick back into gear and rebuild what I had. . – As for the rest of 2018 I’ll be honing my Jedi mind & ninja koala freak skills so that I’ll be prepared for whatever might come my way in the future.

WATCH: Somehow Roelly Winklaar Looks Even BIGGER 4 Weeks Out From Olympia 2018

Will Roelly Winklaar be able to bring his conditioning in with that massive size?

One of our favorite things about Roelly Winklaar is his dedication to getting MASSIVE! Year after year he’s improved on bulking up even more… but the bigger question is – at what cost? Roelly may be gigantic when he steps on stage, but can he bring in the shredded conditioning needed to win the Olympia 2018?

This has been his consistent problem but let’s not forget that Big Ramy once suffered from the very same thing, only to show up in 2017 with conditioning that threatened the reigning champ Phil Heath. Can Roelly surprise us with the same kind of improvement? We’ll find out in 4 weeks in Vegas – but for now check out this latest video that shows that he is STILL getting bigger even with just four weeks left before the big show.

Calum von Moger Has Been Hospitalized Once Again

And you thought you were having a bad go of it lately.

Calum von Moger has once again found himself hospitalized.

It wasn’t enough that he suffered a bicep tear last year and a series of mishaps earlier this year as well, now it appears that Calum von Moger has once again been admitted to the hospital due to stomach pains. The bodybuilder confirmed the hospital stay on his SnapChat.

There’s a silver lining in that this time around as it appears the issue stemmed from food poisoning rather than some extreme physical damage. Calum has since been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

It’s far from a win, but it could have been a whole lot worse. After suffering so many injuries in the past year, another tear would have truly been disheartening for Calum von Moger.

Hopefully by rehydrating and taken the right medications, the stomach bug can clear up and Calum von Moger can once again climb the mountain to bodybuilding success.

Stack3d Supplement Reviews: Birthday Cake Carb Killa Protein Bar

Is this Carb Killa protein bar worth it?

Over the years the legendary Carb Killa protein bar from Grenade has delivered some incredible flavors. To this day the brand’s masterpiece and our favorite flavor is still the delicious White Chocolate Cookie, although it does have other greats such as Peanut Butter and the limited edition Banana Armor.

Recently Grenade launched its almost legendary Carb Killa in an all-new Birthday Cake flavor that we finally managed to get our hands on for review. We haven’t really liked any of the Birthday Cake protein bars we’ve tried so far, however as we’ve seen it do many times before, Carb Killa has made the common flavor something we can enjoy.

birthday cake carb killa review

Review

When you first see the Birthday Cake Carb Killa you immediately think it’s just as its title says; a Birthday Cake flavored protein bar. It’s topped with rainbow sprinkles that give it that Birthday Cake look as well as add that familiar Birthday Cake sweetness and texture.

Once you bite into the protein bar, however, you quickly realize Grenade has once again done something a bit different. The Birthday Cake Carb Killa actually tastes like a rainbow sprinkle version of its legendary White Chocolate Cookie, as the main body is filled with a sweet white chocolate flavor.

birthday cake carb killa review

When the bar’s white chocolate outside, creamy middle, and rainbow sprinkles roll together, you get kind of a mix between a cake batter, birthday cake taste, and white chocolate. The combination is certainly surprising although very welcome, as it’s a nice change of pace compared to the other birthday cake bars out there.

Summary

Not too surprisingly, Grenade has delivered once again with its Birthday Cake Carb Killa. It is yet another great flavor for the long-running and still well-rated protein bar. If you’re a fan of protein-packed Birthday Cake or white chocolate bars, it’s definitely worth a try.

Head over to Stack3d for supplement reviews and more.
